Library Services

REGISTRATION

Our library is a university research library that is open to the broader public.
You can download the registration document here. 

Documents required for registration:
• identity card
• residence card
• student card
• passport for foreign citizens

REGISTRATION FEES

Registration fee: for 1 year from the date of enrolment: 1 600 HUF.

• Our services are free of charge for the professors and lecturers, researchers, employees, and students, so the Citizens of our University.
• Students of other colleges, universities or high schools: 800 HUF/year
• Pensioners and professors, teachers and lecturers of other institutions: 800 HUF/year

Overdue fines:
• 100 HUF/book/day
• 500 HUF/book/day, for the books for weekend loans
• 500 HUF/ reminder, cost of overdue notice 

BORROWING

The number of documents on loan:

It is not possible to borrow multiple copies of the same document.
The duration of the loan period is based on the loan status of the book, usually one month. Coursebooks and lecture notes can be borrowed for one semester.
Periodicals, reference books, dissertations and theses are not available for loan, but can be read only onsite.
If a book is returned after the expiry date of the loan period, the reader is charged a late fee. Our service staff can provide information on the exact amount of the payment.

SUBSCRIPTION

Books on loan by other readers can be reserved online or in person.

RENEWAL

You can ask for an extension on borrowed books online, in person or on the phone It is possible two times on the same document.

INTERLIBRARY LOAN SERVICE

Interlibrary loan is a collaboration among libraries. It is a form of document sharing whereby all readers of a library can temporarily borrow documents that are not in their own collection from another library.
This is a free service for the Citizens of our University.
